"All three of my children have been seen at Bivins and all three had amazing results. The staff and Dr Bivins are all amazing. Dr Bivins takes great pride in the end result and doesn't rush any part of the process. The office itself is very clean, inviting and calm and we always looked forward to the pumpkin contest every year. We dont come here often anymore as all three kids are out of braces and on basic maintenance now with their retainers, but even on the rare occasion to go in for a retainer replacement, everyone is just as kind and sweet to us. I will always recommend Bivins to all who ask."

She patiently explained each step to my daughter as she was getting her braces put on, then took the time to thoroughly explain how to properly brush and maintain her braces. My daughter was nervous but instantly felt at ease with Grace, she is the BEST!!As a family we have been going to Dr. Bivens for over 15yrs. He has treated each of my older children and every single visit has been a positive one! I have never had any complaints or been treated with anything less than kindness and respect. "Took my 9 y/o daughter in for a consultation yesterday and was greeted by an amazing staff. Dr. Bivins provided services a few years ago for my son who needed braces and because of the outstanding service that I received, it was only right to take my daughter to him as well. Dr. Bivins and his staff are awesome and they made my daughter feel at ease when she got her braces put on yesterday.Update: 1/7/2026I had a visit to pick up my Invisalign aligners and start treatment. Janie was awesome! She made me feel at ease during my visit as well as provided detailed instructions regarding the do and don’ts for the proper wear and care of my Invisalign aligners. It is always a pleasure whenever I have a visit."

"I’ve now taken 2 of my children to Bivins Orthodontics for orthodontic treatment, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Bivins and his awesome team. The office is always clean, the staff is friendly, happy to see you, and I never have to worry about my kids’ experience. They even have an area for siblings to hang out and play while we wait, which is always appreciated as a mom with a toddler. If that isn’t enough, they have their own system for rewards, if the kids are doing what they’re supposed to (aka brushing, flossing, not breaking brackets, wearing rubber bands etc) they will earn “Bivins Bucks”, which can be exchanged for real items in their prize cabinet! One of my kids got herself a trendy 40oz Stanley when she had her braces taken off haha. They go above and beyond and beyond for the patient experience, I can’t say enough. We recommend them to everyone we know who is getting ready for braces. Military friendly :)"

"Our daughter came here for “phase 1” of her teeth journey. She received an expander and a set of braces.The entire team from being welcomed to the office to everyone in the back- amazing experience. They made her feel comfortable and safe (at 7 it can be VERY scary) and clearly explained everything from start to finish- for her and me! Amazing staff. My daughter’s favorite experience was picking her band colors and being called “Peanut”. I recommend Bivins to everyone I know."

"Great Orthodontic Office staffed with very professional and compassionate staff that reinforce the great care you receive from Dr. Todd Bivins! I am claustrophobic and struggle with any amount or type if of restraint; so getting braces cemented to my teeth could have been an insurmountable challenge. Dr. Bivins and his Ortho assistant Vicki helped me overcome my fears to get me the beautiful smile I have today. They were very sensitive to my phobia and scheduled the placement of my braces in stages so I had time to adapt to the changes in steps rather than all at once. I don’t know how I would have handled my time in braces without the sensitivity of Dr. Bivins, Vicki and all the staff that take part in making your time at the office a very pleasant experience. "Dr. Todd treated me with braces in my early teens and I loved my teeth! It wasn't until I was about 23 did I realize how important it was to wear my retainer. 12 plus years after not wearing my retainers my teeth shifted and I wanted the smile I once had and I didn't call anyone else but Bivens. One of the best things about Dr. Todd's practice is that he keeps up with the technological advancements in orthodontics and he gives an honest opinion as to what treatment will give you the best results. I live off of Shore Drive in Virginia Beach and drove to Great Bridge (passing numerous other Orthodontist's) because I knew it would be worth the drive! The staff is awesome and are veterans in the orthodontic world!"
